On the way back were were looking up places to stop to break up the long drive. Marie-Luce suggested this lavender farm near Mt. Shasta.

Cool side trip to see the pinnacles. They looked like extruded giant ant colonies. Not what I expected at all.

For that matter, everyone is quite pleased with the boat tour. I was really surprised how fun it was to explore from lake level. Good call.
